Script #2

EXT. A  CITY STREET, DAY
Middle frontal shot through the windshield of a car. We see two men sitting inside. Superimposed on the windshield is the reflection of the facade of what looks like a bank. The man in the passenger seat shifts uneasily and glances at his watch. This prompts the man in the driver's seat to look at him. Henceforth, the man on the wheel will be referred to as MAN #1, while the one in the passenger's seat will be known as MAN #2.

MAN #1
What are you so worked up about? I thought you had a snitch in the force.
MAN #2
    (after a short pause)
All right, look. I have a confession to make. Just know that there's no cause for panic. Everything until now has been moving along just fine. The odds are in our favour, and so far, none of us has been put under the scanner.

CUT TO CLOSE-UP OF MAN #1'S FACE
MAN #2
Okay. The day that the four of us met for the first time, I said I had acquired a major snitch, right?
MAN #1
(cautiously, slowly)
Right.
MAN #2
(inhales deeply, then exhales)
That's me. I'm the snitch.
MAN #1
WHAT? YOU--
CUT TO MAN #2'S FACE
MAN #2
Listen, I told you, there's no reason to be alarmed. We're the same, you and me, right? It just so happens that I'm a low-level cop --
MAN #1
(sarcastically)
Right...
MAN #2
Look, I know you're pissed at me for this, but we're just inches away from being filthy rich. One mistake could bring us all down. Besides, cutting out the middle man means having to cope with less complications. I need you to trust me on this.
CUT TO MAN #1'S FACE
MAN #1
(Looks down and sighs heavily)
Okay. So you've got it all covered?
MAN #2
(Glances out through the window)
Yes. At least until very recently, that is.
MAN #1
Should I even ask what that means?
CUT TO MAN #2'S FACE
MAN #2
(Resting his forehead in his hand)
Police car at 3'0 clock

LONG SHOT PANS ACROSS THE AREA OUTSIDE MAN #2'S WINDOW
MAN #1
(after a short pause)
I don't see it
MAN #2
It's tucked away under the foliage on the left
AS HE IS SAYING THIS, WE SLOWLY PAN TO A SPOT OF FOLIAGE ON THE LEFT. THE TAILLIGHTS OF A POLICE VEHICLE ARE JUST VISIBLE.
MAN #1
Damn. Do the others know about this?
MAN #2
I should hope so. A trained robber who can't spot a police vehicle at least a quarter of a mile away is no robber at all. And that applies to you as well.
